Christmas is one of my favorites times of the year. I love the holiday season and always get into the holiday spirit. My mom decorates her home with over the top, beautiful and festive Christmas decorations and her house literally could pass for Santa’s workshops! I inherited her love for decorating & my sister and I also decorated our home for the holidays.
Below I share with you our simple but beautiful Christmas decoration ideas. I hope you like them as much as we do!
Our color scheme for the family room / living room is teal. We have a small flocked Christmas tree with gold and teal ornaments. Our tree skirt is so soft and is decorated with shimmery sequin stars. I love it! Sticking with the theme, we have teal & gold Holiday decor throughout the room including: a vase filled with ornaments, a nativity scene, a Christmas town, and beautiful tiny pine cone candles.

My mom made beautiful teal bows for us to decorate our lamps & for our light teal lantern. We filled up the lanterns with teal and silver ornaments. It is such an easy way to add a touch of Christmas to something we already own.

For our kitchen, which is adjacent to the living room, my mom made these beautiful wreaths for us using a wreath from Dollar Tree, pearls from Hobby Lobby and a bow she made from a glittery ribbon. They are so cute!

Our second living room has a blue and white theme and has our big (translation: gigantic) Christmas tree. We decorated the Christmas tree with shimmery ornaments, flowers & navy and white bows. I love how it turned out!

We styled our bookshelves with a beautiful flocked garland and white wreaths that were handmade by our mom. We also added a beautiful Nativity Scene and reindeers. I think the room looks so cozy and Christmasy!

We decided to decorate our dining room and entryway with subtle Christmas decor in the shade of red. My mom also made the red Christmas tree on the dining room table from sparkly red crystals. I love how it looks with the sun reflecting on it! So beautiful!

We decorated the staircase with a garland and added handmade bows made from shimmery ribbon. They look so festive and charming. It was so easy to add them to the garland and I think they add a magical touch.

I also wanted to bring some holiday cheer into my bedroom. My bedroom is gray and I added red Christmas decorations for a festive pop of color.

I decorated these tiny Hobby Lobby Christmas trees with red ornaments and bows. I also sprayed them with fake snow. I love how they turned out!

Finally, we added small hints of Christmas to our office: mainly these fun Star Wars Holiday themed figurines. They are so adorable!
