My dog Leo makes an appearance on the blog today 🙂 He is in almost all of my outfit pictures.
I can’t believe that Thanksgiving is this week! We normally have Thanksgiving dinner at my mom’s house but this year we are all going to my aunt’s house in the suburbs. I’m excited to have a delicious meal and hang out with my family. Below I share with you some of my outfit options for the day.
This look is one of my favorites because it is so easy to put together and you can’t go wrong with a burgundy sweater dress for Thanksgiving. This one is so cozy and soft.
I love the next outfit as the dress is so forgiving and you can eat a lot without worrying about it! It is the perfect fall color: a muted green. I paired it with my checkered scarf, tan bag and over the knee boots.
This next outfit reminds me of fall as well. You simply need a black dress, light brown cardigan and brown booties. If it is hot where you live, you can simply omit the cardigan and still look very fall-ish. I also tried this outfit with a pink cardigan and I thought it looked adorable as well!
If you’re attending a casual Thanksgiving dinner, this look is for you! I love burgundy booties with a cute pair of skinny jeans. It screams fall to me. I think a burgundy top completes the whole outfit. In my outfits below, the blouse is from Loft and so adorable! The sweater is from Nordstrom Rack and also so cute! I’m linking similar options here, here and here.
This look is more edgy but one of my favorites! I got the black skirt at Express and the red turtleneck at Ann Taylor. It is so soft! I started wearing turtlenecks last year and now I’m obsessed with them. I used to think that they were choking my neck but now I don’t even notice and I like that they keep me warm.
Finally, if you love black, I highly recommend a black sweater dress with black over the knee boots. I like this option as the sweater dress flares out and has white details on the top and on the sleeves.
